Integration Technique ABOUT YOUR LASER TREATMENT I've never heard of a "cold" laser: Scientists and medical researchers have been studying laser technology for decades and have been using ‘hot’ lasers for surgery and cauterization with tremendous success. It was found that the "cold" or lower intensity laser was successful in reducing pain and tissue malfunction. After years and years of research and medical testing the FDA in 2002 APPROVED the LLL (Low Level Laser, also called the nonthermal laser or "cold" laser) for medical professional use. Will it cut or burn the tissue? No, the intensity of the LLL is less than the "hot" lasers used for surgery. The wavelength of the light is the same for both but the LLL has a much lower wave speed. It can not cut or burn.
How does it work? Every cell in the body vibrates. That's how fluids and foods and messages are transferred from one cell to another. Cells of a certain type form tissues which vibrate at the same frequency. Different tissues vibrate at different rates; for example, the frequency of vibration of the knee will be different from the lung. When the vibration, whether caused by injury or trauma or illness or stress, changes from its normal frequency, the tissue will not function normally. The LLL is capable of penetrating deep into tissue. When the LLL sends out light wavelengths at the proper frequency for that tissue, the tissue will immediately convert to correct frequency. This is called Neural Defragmentation. Dr. Watson's LLL has capability of projecting 4 frequencies at one time. Will I feel anything and why does he wear glasses and I don't? You won't feel anything during treatment. Afterwards, you may feel ease of movement, pain relief or increased strength. Dr. W. wears glasses because long term (several hours per day for years) could cause eye damage. Can everyone get LLL treatment? It's approved for baby to senior. What is NIT and why is Dr. W. in class so much? NIT, short for Neural Integration Technique, is also called the "New Neurology", using basic neurological concepts in examination and treatment. The LLL is a major component of the technique, as well as the EB (ionCleanse) and percussor. NIT is cutting edge technology and currently there are only about one hundred physicians in the U.S. practicing NIT. For additional details of studies and research, just ask us..
