There is an issue that I feel very strongly about that I would like to talk about here. I think most of my existing patients already know this about me, but for anyone reading this who may be seeking out a chiropractor, I hope this will be informative for you. I see other chiropractors, not just locally, but all over the place offering deals and discounts to new patients. I even get asked from time to time why I don’t offer promotions and specials to patients. The answer is pretty simple to me…I refuse to cheapen my service and the chiropractic profession. What kind of care do you think you get when you go to a place that is offering a healthcare service for pennies on the dollar? Would you choose your primary care doctor or any other specialist because they were the cheapest option? These places offer these deals to get people to walk in the front door, not really caring about your long term health. Whether you come in with back pain, headaches, sciatica, disc issues, neck pain, TMJ, whatever it is…either minor or severe, it is going to get my full attention. The same can’t be said for these “fast food” of chiropractic facilities. Constantly, I get patients that have been to these types of clinics and learned the hard way about what it’s like to be a patient there. I’m thankful that I get to show these patients what it’s like to be under my care. It also makes me angry and sad to know that there are a large portion of people that get turned off to chiropractic because they have a bad experience in one of these environments. You may pay a little more to see me, but it won’t take long to understand that it’s worth it. For anyone who is looking for a healthcare provider that truly cares about your health, and takes pride in the fact that when I see you in public, I will know exactly who you are, please don’t hesitate to contact my office.
